Terms of Service

Employ.ink provides tools to create, edit, analyze, and export resumes and related career materials, including AI-assisted features. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction (and at least 16 where applicable). You may not share accounts or use the Service for anyone else without permission.

You retain ownership of resumes, uploads, and other materials you submit (“User Content”). You grant Employ.ink a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, transmit, display, and create derivative works of User Content solely as needed to operate and improve the Service (including sending content to AI providers you invoke through the product).

You represent that you have the rights to submit User Content and that it does not violate law or third-party rights. You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of User Content and any materials you send to employers or others.

AI suggestions, parsing, scoring, rewriting, and similar outputs are automated and may be wrong, incomplete, biased, or outdated. Employ.ink does not provide legal, career, immigration, or employment advice. We do not guarantee interviews, job offers, salary outcomes, ATS compatibility with any employer system, or that any resume will be accepted.

You must review and verify all outputs before relying on them or submitting them. You assume all risk arising from your use of AI features and exported documents.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or abusive purposes
• Upload malware, scrape the Service without permission, or attempt to bypass security or usage limits
• Reverse engineer, resell, or provide the Service as a competing white-label offering without our written consent
• Infringe intellectual property or privacy rights of others
• Misrepresent AI-generated content as human-written where disclosure is required by law or platform rules

We may suspend or terminate access for violations, suspected abuse, or risk to the Service or other users.

Paid plans, trials, and credits (if offered) are billed through our payment partner. Pricing, features, and limits may change. Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated by us or our payment partner. Taxes may apply.

Free tiers and promotional credits may be limited, revoked, or modified at our discretion. Running out of credits or limits does not entitle you to continued paid-tier features without a valid subscription.

The Service, including software, design, branding, templates (excluding your User Content), and documentation, is owned by Employ.ink or its licensors. Except for the limited license to use the Service, no rights are granted to you. You may not copy or reuse our branding or templates as a standalone product.

The Service may integrate third parties (authentication, hosting, payments, AI models, analytics). Their terms and privacy practices apply to their processing. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS OR PRODUCE ANY PARTICULAR CAREER RESULT.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EMPLOY.INK AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO EMPLOY.INK FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Employ.ink and its affiliates from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your User Content, your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access immediately for breach, risk, non-payment, or inactivity. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, limitations, and indemnity) will survive.

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice (for example, email or in-product). Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Metro Manila, Philippines shall have exclusive jurisdiction, except that we may seek injunctive relief in any jurisdiction to protect our intellectual property or Service integrity.

These Terms are the entire agreement between you and Employ.ink regarding the Service. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
